I currently ride with a flat bar and I'm wanting to get an extra 30mm rise (which is what my wife tells me all the time

). I'm wanting to know which would be less flex - raising the stem (quill type) approx. 30mm or getting a 30mm riser bar and leaving the stem alone. I've never used riser bars so don't know if they flex more or not compared to flat bars. The flat bars I'm using now are 520mm wide so I would need to either find some narrow risers or just cut them down. Thanks.
