I just bought a new Synapse Ultegra yesterday. I know what you guys mean about the paint jobs being toned down some, but I've been riding a Viper red R1000si for a while, and it always seemed kind of loud looking to me. My Synapse is the Silver/White color scheme. The pictures on Cannondale's website do not do it any justice. I think my Synapse was a little on the pricey side, but I thought it felt best of the half dozen bikes I test rode yesterday. I had no intention of even buying a carbon frame, but I fell in love with it right away.
