It's about time
I finally got this thing on the road today. As is typical for me, things changed along the way. Still, I'm really happy with how it turned out.
1977 Schwinn Volare (modified and repainted by someone)
Phil Wood/swaged spokes/Campagnolo Omega rims
Sugino Mighty crankset & bottom bracket
Suntour Cyclone dérailleurs
Simplex Retrofriction shifters
VO Grand Cru headset
SR Royal seatpost and stem
Nitto B132 handlebar
Suntour Superbe levers and calipers
Brooks Professional Classic
VO Randonneur rack
Scott's Tyre Savers
Don't mind my ratty backyard. I was only able to do a 15 mile shakedown ride today, but I really, really like it. It feels very comfortable and smooth.
