I was maybe ten feet from the KOM sign.
I expected a big crowd, but not that big! I made it home in time to watch the last four miles on TV, I think the crowds on Mt Diablo were as big if not bigger than at the finish.
I waited ten-fifteen minutes before starting down North Gate. Not nearly as many riders, but more cars to deal with.
