+1 on the previous responses. The Sedona is a popular, well-made bike and a great place to start your cycling journey. Don't let yourself be taken in by all the disparaging talk about less-expensive components and the spiral of eternal upgrades. As Sixty-Fiver noted, you may need to get stronger wheels at some point, but everything else should serve you well. No matter what you ride there will always be someone with a fancier bike-as well as someone who envies the one you have. The only person it needs to satisfy is you.
