We all started out on "less expensive" bikes... the beauty of that is as your skills and fittest improves then you can dream about another bike purchase... the lust for bikes never stops... I always say however, if you are out riding, doesn't matter what you are sitting on - it only matters you are doing something! Don't stop... keep moving and think about the next bike purchase!!!
