Hey everyone,

I am a long time lurker on this website. I am currently looking for an old road bike for a few reasons: get onto a bike again, cut down on gas, and stay in shape during my off season for track. I have been searching CL for the past month or so.

Does anyone have any research tips/websites? Not only is it a pain to google every bike I see, but it is hardly consistent. A "hierarchy" of bike models or components would be perfect.

What brands/ models would you recommend? Looking to spend under $200. Something light would be nice, but beggars can't be choosers. I want something that was decent in its day, and something I can ride hard without breaking.
