It is a very low quality bike.
A rule that basically never stops being true, when it comes to bikes, is: NEVER get a bike that has an automotive branding. It's always a marketing ploy. The bikes are always low end. And the price is always jacked up. Always avoid.
However, unfortunately, even besides all of that, your bike is still very low quality. As mentioned above, it's a "bicycle shaped object" rather than a real, well built bike (like most of what you would find at a real bike shop, instead of a big box store like Wal-Mart [which sells POS bikes very similar to what you have]). Don't let its dual suspension fool you (primitive, low quality design with cheap components and materials). Take it on trails at your own risk. Be prepared for endless repairs and adjustments.
In other words, even though you got it for free, it still has the potential to be a waste of money, assuming you'll take it to a bike shop for repairs.
