I know 4 "roadies" pretty well, one was Cat2, another went to Colorado for olympics training, didn't make the cut though. Other two are mid-pack Cat 4 types. I wouldn't call any of them chumps though.

I've only got about 10 hours or so pack riding with gangs of roadies. Sometimes I think that's about enough

Local club rides would probably snotrocket or Cinzano me if I tried to get on their pace line cuz I rarely wear a lid.
