Owner of the LBS is going to give me a significant discount, I wouldnt consider it, if he didnt. I learned before, when I bought a used Giant TCR Advanced and found a hairline crack down the seat tube, luckily an LBS gave me a good faith crash warranty and gave me a new frame for half price, but still on top of what I already paid for the used bike. I have looked on eBay, but its hard to drop 2-3k without proper inspection. At least I will have peace of mind knowing I have life time warranty on this frame.
If you're saying you'll get it near half price, I think it's a great deal. I'd get it.
I bet (hope?) aero bikes will get more common over the next 5 years.
