I own a 10 year old 2200. Except for a few nicks that I touched up, the paint still looks new. I upgraded everything on the bike over time and the only thing still original is the frame. I ended up with a 1" threadless Chris King headset and a CF fork. The local dealer ordered the fork from Waterford and it came painted and matched the original color perfectly after 8 years.
Just for purposes of comparison, I now have a custom Seven that costs $7800. I can tell very little difference bewteen it and the Waterford. The dealer that fitted me with the Waterford told me the standard geometry was so close to what he recommended, he suggested I go with it rather than paying what aws $200 more for custom 10 years ago. Smart thought.
I still love my waterford.
