Hmm. Well my Freschi is SL and my Paramount is SLX. I've always heard that SLX isn't the better choice for large-ish frames...whippier and unwieldy, perhaps. The cutoff for Paramount was 58cm for SLX, but my 60 is in SLX (mistake? I'm also interested in other peoples opinions so I'll sit back and listen now.
I think some builders step up to SP or SPX on larger frames or use a blend similar to what Bianchi does.
