Tire Patching?
So took a bad line and ended up with about a 1/2" slash in my rear tire. Its in the tread not the sidewall. Anybody have any tips for patching the tire? Its setup tubeless and its to big for the stans to fill. Had a nice white geyser of sealent when it happend. I tried running an internal patch, which blew through the slash. Tried another patch and some super glue on the outside, which worked for about a 1/2 ride then once again a white geyser of sealent. The slash is to big and weird shaped for a tire plug, which im not even sure would work on a mtb tire. So I'm running out of options. Really dont want to replace the tire since its pretty new and not exactly a cheap piece of rubber. But at this point thats seeming to be my only option. Anybody have any tire patching secrets in their bag of tricks that I have overlooked?
