I discovered these in 2009 when I returned to cycling after a 17-year hiatus. They are great tires for the money - superior to some of the more expensive sew-ups I've owned in the past. They're 300 gram training tires and not for serious competition, but performance-wise they're still as good if not better than many modern clinchers. They roll straight and true and are very durable - I wore the tread out on my first set riding on less-than-idea asphalt roads without a single flat.
Difficult to mount? Absolutely not if you mount and inflate them without gluing on an old rim and allow them to pre-stretch for a few days the way we all did back-in-the-day.
