Do my eyes deceive me? What's up with the dr, chain, and freewheel,,,rusty or painted brown for the "serious rider,"

Oops sorry, just realized op had already commented on the rusty parts

Nothing shows the seriousness of a rider like those turned up handlebars and rusty components. He is right, it is not cheap at $175.
