Can anyone who knows a lot about these stands comment on if this new design solves problems inherent in standard seat clamp style ones or introduces new issues.
If you need to work on the front with the wheel on, remove the rear wheel, flip the bike around and attach the rear drop outs to the quick release clamp on the stand. Those clamps can adjust for front and rear drop out widths as well as the distance to the bottom bracket.

These fork clamp style stands are essential if you don't have a round seat post. Working on installing/removing a crankset can be a bit unstable because the bottom bracket is not "locked" in to anything, just strapped down, but it's no better on a traditional work stand.

I've had experience with Feedback Sports and Park stands. Both are high quality products, but Feedback gets the nod because they usually come in at a better price than Park products.
