no wonder you don't like it, this is the dumbest design ever. what is suppose to keep the cage attached to the bars? i'm assuming the bungee cord was your way of fixing the design flaw. seems to me that the point where your bungee is hooked, the bracket should go under the stem and join. that way the weight of the bottle would push down at the cage end while pushing up under the stem.
