Meh... Porsche lost the plot when they made the Cayenne, and went insane with the Panamera. They went from an iindependent enthuisiat brand to a corp brand for the "real house wife of" set.
The Cayenne made enough money for Porsche to keep the company afloat, and produce new models. No Cayenne= no Boxster, no Cayman, no 991 911, and likely no Posrche as a seperate brand.
The 991, and the 981 are the best Porsches ever built. And that's thanks to the Cayenne.
