In my case, the little screw thing on the top of my presta valve was stuck shut, so I was sitting there trying to pull/twist it open for like 5 minutes with my pliers. I could have used some help or muscle power or knowledge about how those things work, because I've never had that happen to me before. But yeah, otherwise I would have said, "I got it, thanks!" It's just a nice gesture.
