Oh for chris sake. The evidence is in the fact that laws concerning cyclists that have been on the books for decades still haven't seeped into the public's mind. Hell, even avid cyclists don't understand half the laws that pertain to cyclists. This thread would be just one example.
If you want something concerning cycling to seep into the public's mind, you're gonna have to put them on a bike...and even then the odds are against you. Your own "cyclist inferiority" theory proves that out daily.
