Did the seller say why he's selling? The bike looks like it has hardly been ridden. It's hard for me to imagine that kind of coin on a custom bike and then selling after (presumably) not much usage.

I actually do know its history...it was owned by Serotta Forums guys (both cool dudes), the first used it sparingly, and on roads, before injuring his back. He needed something different because of that and sold it to another forum guy. The second forumite has more nice bikes than Wilt Chamberlain has trading cards (what did you think I'd write?). He seriously has 30-40 bikes of this caliber, and he rotates them frequently. He used it a couple of times and passed it on to make room for something else. I jumped!
I've heard jacked used as stolen...I've heard used as meaning excited...but hadn't heard it as injured. He meant it liked laid up.
