Have the shop do the repair. You said "pop" which makes me think blow out which means total replacement of tire and tube. Is there visible damage to the tire?
Your bike is very entry level. Stay out of pot holes and cracks until you get a feel for the bike first. The tires/tubes may not be the greatest.
