Actually, no . . . I know that falling is a risk when riding, and I do whatever possible to minimize that risk. So, when it comes to going for it on yellow lights, blowing through stop signs, or otherwise behaving like a jackass, I'll pass. I've only been in one major fall in 5 years of bike commuting, when I collided with a guy that stepped in front of me between two parked cars. He didn't see me, and was so close when he stepped out, I don't think I even had time to brake. Although neither one of us was seriously injured, being off the bike for a month for all the sprains, bruises and contusions to heal was not fun.

Glad to hear that the OP was not hurt and kudos to the LBS for getting you back up to speed so quickly. After a major fall, it does take a little while to get the mojo back, but it does happen.
