with a one overplayed track exception, the unforgettable fire is a great album. feels fresh every time i listen. broad, atmospheric, i love it. i saw them in birmingham once, with mick jones (the clash) and his b.a.d. band opening up for them. it was euphoric, but that was way back in the day.

Unknown Pleasures still sounds great. I had the pleasure of seeing Peter Hook perform it in its entirety, and while Hooky ain't Curtis, he did a damn fine job.
