I rode in rain today. After coming home, I cleaned my bike, but I didn't lube it, the reasons are:
1) I want it to thoroughly dry before lubing--lubing while parts are damp will keep the moisture inside the parts and make them rusty,
2) I prefer to lube my bike just before riding it out, so that my home will not smell the lube, and pedaling will help distribute the lube.

So my question is, is it OK not to lube until 1-2 days after cleaning the bike?
