thanks so much, the place I called said most shops around here don't do the 3-400 dollar range and only the national teams fit to the point you can start focusing on using your core etc (I didn't fully understand this part, just relaying what he said). In any case he gave me some very good advice for free and took a few minutes to try and save me some money, and over the phone no less, rather nice of him. Theirs is for $65, which I don't mind paying but I'll get a measuring tape and a level and try out the fit calc. before I resort to that

looks like I'll be extending my seat height and changing the angle of my clip-in shoes (the latter I knew was needed), the seat height I was doing some guesswork on

in any case, it'll be short downtown rides for the next week or so, still pretty sore from Saturday, feels like that first snowboard run of the season, using muscles you don't normally use
