I've looked at DxOMark and compared the results from several cameras. Aside from the funny shelves for some expanded ISO settings, most are close enough to "correct" on the ISO sensitivity chart to be within a stop. How much variation are you suggesting we'd have if we got a different camera, etc.? F/4 is F/4, and 4 seconds is 4 seconds.
