These computers and power meters won't do you any good if you don't or won't look at the data and learn how to apply what it is telling you to your training routine. For that, I would suggest some sort of book like what Beaker is recommending, The Cyclists Training Bible. A Garmin will help you see your progress and then map out a routine and the info you gain from the book will help you along your road to getting stronger and faster. It will be a good addition to your bike if you actually use the data and follow a plan.


I don't use one because I really suck at plans.
