I broke my front skewer this weekend.

The plastic below the arm cracked, and half of it came right off. I've been meaning to get a set of light ones, and now I have a good reason.
There are a million fancy skewers out there - are any of them actually better than the others? Doesn't seem like a component that's doing much, so probably not, but who knows. (If it matters, I have carbon dropouts.) I'm thinking the red KCNC ones will match my bike fairly well, and they'll be a very cheap way to remove about 80 grams.
Also, I thought they were supposed to cost about $45, but I keep seeing them for around $70. Am I looking in the wrong place?
