BikeLink is in Hoover, but I don't know if they have a regular Sat shop ride or not. You could check with them. There's a group that leaves out of Liberty Park (east of Hoover) every Sat morning. Frisky but not full racer pace. Generally ~ 40 miles with a climb or two. The other rides I'm aware of would be even further away from the Hoover area.
Sundays there is a ride leaving just off exit 6 of I459. (9 am?) You sticking around 'til then?
