Well, spending time on this forum is costing me money! I found a real nice Specialized 29er montain bike on E-bay, and offered the guy quite a bit less than he was asking. I went for a ride after I put the offer in. He counter offered three different times while I was out, dropping his price down $25.00 each time. I bought the bike and picked it up yesterday, it is basically brand new, he said he only rode it once last fall, then had some knee problems over the winter and couldn't ride it anymore. Anyway, I got it for way less than half of the cost of a new one. Took it out in the woods near my house this morning for an 8 mile shakedown ride. The thing is perfect in every way, not a scratch on it and clean as a whistle. That got me to 315 for May, way over my goal mileage, and my second highest month so far this year, with one day to go. I'll try to get the hybrid out tomorrow for a longish ride.
