They had over 40 wheels on the ground on each truck and were stepping and fetching, the one guy I talked to on the CB was grossing over 120,000#. I have seen double 40's on the NY thruway and seen videos of the Aussie road trains. I have also seen plenty of the big wind mill blades along the way out in the Midwest, not much weight but a long load. 130' range. Definitely a different class of trucking from what I have done.

The NY Thruway allows twin 48' trailers, here in the great white north we pull twin 53s. I shot this at the scale just west of Saskatoon. I was pulling these from Winnipeg to Edmonton. We can gross up to 140.000 lbs on these combos.
