Bikes: looks like a specialized crux now

My uncle handed me two bikes to put together so he would have something to ride for exercise these days.

Apparently these are the bikes he and my dad rode when they were kids. I also rode my dad's bike when I was a child as my first rode bike.

You can easily tell which bicycle was mine and dad's. It is more than 40 years old, still shiny in some places, rusty and dented only a few spots. Shifts and brakes perfectly for a bike I haven't seen in years. No reflectors or lights, or padding on the seat. My uncle's bike on the other hand. Padded seat and bars, a horn and lights and is a lot more comfy. But no were near as fast

Seeing my first bike does shovel up a few old feeling if nothing else. I do admit I have no desire to ride the thing again. As far as I feel it probably is a death trap at this point considering the rust and dents.

I would much rather give my uncle a newer bike than put him on either one those, but it was nice to see that one again. I am debating keeping it for sentimental value. Or just take some pictures and then get rid of it considering the space it takes up
