I have a question. Can bonking be prevented, or perhaps, postponed with nutrition?

There are definite limits to human endurance. I don't care what you eat or when you eat it, there is a point where the body stops and rest will be the only thing that matters.

So, is there any way to quantify when inputting energy is pointless. When do your muscles quit and say thanks for the fuel but I'm done.
