I survived!!!! Saturday rode it straight out of the shop 9 miles on the streets of Miami. Then another 6 miles later on that day. Took a break Sunday and then rode it 12 miles on Monday.
Alright, so here is my feedback. The bike felt great, was averaging 15 mph with the max 21 mph. I didn't change the seat and for the most part it felt good but needless to say that by the end of Monday I was a little sensitive. Odd (at least for me) was the pain in the lower palm of my hands and a little in the inner shoulder area. I am sure that it is those muscles getting acclimated (I hope). No pain in either the back or knees and considering that I have issues with both that was great.
I can see where the street riding will be challenging because of traffic but I tried the sidewalks for a couple of stretches but felt every bump and crack. Most of my riding will be on weekends so will hope for the best.
I had better pics but they were larger than 2 MB so it didn't accept them. Again I want to thank all of you for the advice. Still have a lot to learn but at least now I will be doing it while riding. Oh I did experience a little bike envy as a cyclist just smoked me...although he did say Good Morning as he passed me
