I hate bike thieves with a passion.

Was riding back from downtown and passed the shelter and a guy pulls away on a new Kona Jake the Snake CX and rides up to the convenience store so I stopped to grab a drink and compliment him on his ride which he just left unlocked.

Without batting an eyelash he said he just bought it for $100.00 and thought it was a little "warm"... was too close to scumbag central to f with this guy as I could have dealt with him but had no idea how many friends he had a block down the street.

Called EPS to file a report and they said they would send some nice fellows in that direction to have a chat with him as the value of the bike justifies a response.

Now I have to send out feelers to my contacts at all the shops to see if anyone is missing their sweet assed cross bike.
