There are lots of reasons to do it, its the cycling tradition, road rash (thankfully I've never experience that), easy for massaging (don't do that in class though), and looks good while in spandex. Also all of the cyclist do it so there is peer pressure that way. You could also just say that your gay and hopefully they'd leave you alone. But I don't think that would solve it. One more year and I'm out.
