Bikes: 2013 ICE Sprint RS

More things think about that could influence which bike you get.

How do you plan on carrying stuff while riding?
I started out using a backpack but switched to rear racks with panniers about a month later because I couldn't get the backpack comfortable enough for my 2 hour ride to work. Shifting the weight from my back to the bike increased my comfort and increased my average speed by 3 mph.
How often does it rain?
If you want to ride rain or shine, have the bike shop install fenders. After your second ride in the rain, you will be glad you got them. Pay close attention the how the rear brakes are mounted as this can really limit your choices of fenders.
Is the price range you mentioned for the bike by itself or for the bike and accessories?

Since I use a 2011 Raleigh Revenio 1.0 ($550US, http://www.raleighusa.com/archive/20...revenio-10-11/) as a daily commuter, I'll give you a nudge for the Raleigh Cadent.
