Front tired slammed down almost to the hub i felll off, i literaly had to use both arms PRYING and pulling to get my front tire unstuck.

No damage, the wheels fine and ive only got a scuffed forearm, i figured is one was was safe to ride over the other was too. HA NOOOP

i just assumed that the metal grates down the street where the same as the ones im used to riding over "looked the same", THey werent and i should have known better.

sorry if i wasnt explaing things well, metal grates = basic tic tac tosetup for metal grates on streets.
I once fell when a huge, deep crack in the pavement bit my wheel in a similar way. I was keeping an eye on an oddly-behaving car and didn't see the crack at all until *WHAM* I was on the ground.
