Later in the ride I was able to get in the ear of the team mate I spoke about last week. He is very strong in steady state, but gets shelled in surges. He *****ed some about the shenanigans on the team ride today and I told him that they were trying to get him ready for racing. Others on the team spoke up as well. He is a Marine so he is used to taking orders and suffering. I think that this might work out. I also gave him some training advice.
