If you do find an undamaged rear, put it in a glass case as a collector's item. Everybody talks about the 'death fork' nobody ever discusses the rear derailleur which was a much worse piece of kit.
I am thinking that the Campagnolo Valentino Group would be perfect on it... unless I can sort a Suntour Original Parallelgram rear dérailleur
