saturday team ride from Fort Collins to Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mtn Natl Park.

the full route is 128 miles with 10,000 feet of climbing, reaching a highpoint of over 12K feet.

over the course of the 4 hours up, i did 3x20 climbs with rest and regoups between. we hit lightning and thunder and sleet about 3 miles shy of the high point and hauled ass back down to estes and had lunch and sat our the storm. rest of the ride home was some downhill paceline work, which was awesome, hard fun, and then a couple of hill sprints 6 hours and 110 miles into the day. ouch. burned it down completely. sunday sat on the couch and this week i'll mostly just do my commute. got a HC race this weekend and state TT next weekend. feelin good.
