Anyway, taking the lane as opposed to riding in the gutter should keep one pretty safe from excretions.
I find Frankfurt really clean and I found Stockholm stunningly clean (the tap water comes from the river (?) flowing through the city).
Also, urine is sterile (at least when it exits the body), so what's the big deal? Some of the commuters here seem to be girlie-men
