Definitely not Scrod, but I've been told that the tighter bends of a compact handlebar are not likely to fit through the opening of a 25.4 mm stem. That's not to contradict Scrod, but just with a brand new 25.4 stem it might be a problem, as he says a used stem may work. But I was told it was for that reason that they don't make bars with compact or ergo drops in 25.4 as they wouldn't fit on a brand new stem. It could be that the person who told me that was talking out of his ass, but, if not, just letting you know that there might not be any point in looking any further for the bars you want in 25.4.

Again, not trying to pretend to be Scrod, but wishing I could eat breakfast like him. Mmmmm, stuffed peppers with eggs and chorizo....
