It really doesn't matter what someone else chooses to wear when they ride or why they choose to ride. Honestly, who really cares? and I've ridden in tight jeans because I like tight jeans, but these days I choose knickers cos they don't wear out as fast. Anyway, I've met a lot of similar looking ppl at the bicycle co-op I used to volunteer at in L.A. and they were actually really nice, friendly ppl. Some ppl like to hate on roadies in full kit but almost every roadie I've ever talked to on the road has been really friendly to me. Maybe we should all drop our commuter elitism and be more like the hipsters and roadies now.
also, I don't ride in the rain very often. Sometimes, but where I'm from it doesn't rain very often, it's always clear and sunny, so it's kind of a downer when it does rain. Now that I'm in Korea...I hear it's gotta be humid, hot, and rainy as hell come summer time but I want to continue riding so I'm looking into getting some appropriate clothes for this climate.
