From the store you can do a 23 miles loop that includes Mama Bear and Pig Farm:
- West on Mt. Diablo
- Turn right on Happy Valley Rd. and follow it until Bear Creel Rd. That includes a good wake-up climb, not long.
- Turn right on Bear Creek. Climbs Baby and Mama Bear.
- Turn right on Alhambra, Pig Farm will be a couple of miles from there.
- Follow Alhambra until it reaches Reliez Valley Rd.
- Keep going straight on Reliez Valley. Another climb.
- Turn right on Pleasant Rd, pass under the freeway.
- Turn right on Mt. Diablo to return to your starting point.

There are variants to extend the ride by turning left on Bear Creek Rd and climb Papa Bear, then turn right on San Pablo Rd., another right on Castro Ranch, and a right on Alhambra. Also in Lafayette at the end you may turn right on Deer Hill Rd. for an additional climb before going back on Mt. Diablo via Brown.
