Really ? In my experience, the frame is least likely to be damaged. Front wheel, shifters, pedals, rear derailleur, and handlebars get the worst of it. I've been in a few too many race crashes, and I T-boned a car. I can't remember any frame damage. Of course it happens, but I think it's relatively rare as a percentage of crashes with damage.
