I'm pretty tired tonight, having covered over 800 miles in the last couple of weeks of touring. Great fun, as well as (I hope) great training. Today was pretty brutal, though, as our interlude of Californian weather has come to an end and been supplanted by wind and incessant rain. Severe weather warnings for tomorrow, with wind speeds that may make it dangerous to ride, so I may just call it a day and take the train home.
Then an easy week in prospect before back to racing next weekend. We'll see how the "touring as training" regime has worked out...
