Bibs are more comfortable. Do you wear tight lycra cycling gear because you think you look good? People think you look silly, whether you're wearing bibs or shorts. Bibs stop your chammy from riding down and stop the waistband feeling restrictive when you're breathing heavily.

Also, I have never ever had to take off my jersey or remove shoulder straps of bibs to pee. It's stretchy material, just pull the middle bit down. It will stretch far enough.
