This is the best free entertainment I've ever experienced. This loop plays out over and over and over. Customers line up to get this guy's magical wheels, are unable to get a timely response, or any response from him and then they come to Bikeforums asking exactly what the OP has asked. Those who have finally gotten a set of his wheels come here to defend while those without continue to complain.

Owners post about their PSIMET wheels and the rest will turn themselves inside out to become a member of the club. This wheel builder, (I believe his name is Rob), seriously needs to become a televangelist or the head of the next great Ponzi scheme. He could make Bernie Madoff look like a frickin amateur. And no doubt he could make way more money than he is moonlighting as a wheel builder.

His defenders talk about how busy he is and offer up any number of excuses on his behalf. The real answer is painfully obvious; he doesn't place a great deal of importance on customer communications and feedback. And this could be due to any number of reasons.
If you all were able to see the crap he no doubt has to deal with from customers on a daily basis you could gain a huge insight into his world. We cyclist have to be the most neurotic bunch of whiners to have ever existed. But that's the choice. Go into business and deal with whacked bike guys or not. I would expect that he daily considers folding up shop and going back to his pre-wheel builder life.

The guy has done his homework and his post are full of good info, insights into the industry, new takes on old subjects. For the most part, reading one of his posts is well worth the time.

the facts;
he is a wheel builder (he isn't 'manufacturing' alloy or carbon rims)
he buys off the shelf rims, spokes, hubs that were made in Taiwan or China
there are at least (10) other builders who use the same rims he is using and offer them at the same price

Stop commiserating over your unanswered e-mails and move on. You can get the same product from other people.
